My second favorite meat on earth is chicken ! When I throw a finger food party, or participate in a BYO gathering with friends, I normally make these flavor-packed chicken skewers and everyone just loves them. I will show you a few different way of marinating, so you can pick and chooseIMG_324354609884092


–         The best part, is chicken thigh. If you are on a diet, go for chicken breast

–         Soak the skewers in cold water around 30mins will avoid them being burn when grilling

–         Cut your chicken with only 1cm thick

–         Marinated your chicken for at least 3hours. Best is even overnight

–         Before grilling, remember to always cover each skewer with one layer of oil

–         During grilling, remember to always keep rubbing your skewer with the sauce

–         For even more “tender and juicy”, use shallot-juice


–         Sesame oil + oyster sauce + sugar + finely chopped shallot

–         Lemongrass, finely chopped + fish sauce + sugar + pepper

–         Lemon juice + garlic + salt + sugar

–         Fried chopped garlic + chopped chilly in oil and sugar+ salt to make a spicy marinated sauce

–         Oyster sauce + soya sauce + finely chopped shallot
